چکیده

Motivated by the conflict between authenticity and privacy in the digital signature, the notion of limited verifier signature was introduced [1]. The signature can be verified by a limited verifier, who will try to preserve the privacy of the signer if the signer follows some specified rules. Also, the limited verifier can provide a proof to convince a judge that the signer has indeed generated the signature if he violated the predetermined rule. However, the judge cannot transfer this proof to convince any other party. Also, the limited verifier signature should be converted into an ordinary one for public verification if required. In this paper, we first present the precise definition and clear security notions for (convertible) limited verifier signature, and then propose two efficient (convertible) limited verifier signature schemes from bilinear pairings. Our schemes were proved to achieve the desired security notions under the random oracle model.

Convertible limited (multi-) verifier signature: new constructions and applications

A convertible limited (multi-) verifier signature (CL(M)VS) provides controlled verifiability and preserves the privacy of the signer. Furthermore, limited verifier(s) can designate the signature to a third party or convert it into a publicly verifiable signature upon necessity. In this proposal, we first present a generic construction of convertible limited verifier signature (CLVS) into which...

A Non-delegatable Identity-based Designated Verifier Signature Scheme without Bilinear Pairings

Up to now, several non-delegatable identity-based (strong) designated verifier signature schemes using bilinear pairings are proposed. In these identity-based (strong) designated verifier signature schemes, bilinear pairings are employed either in signing and verifying steps or only in the verifying step. However, the computation cost of pairings at a security level equivalent to a 128-bit symm...

Zero-knowledge Group Identification and Hidden Group Signature for Smart Cards Using Bilinear Pairings

In this paper, we propose a new blind group identification protocol and a hidden group signature protocol as its application. These protocols involve many provers and one verifier such that (1) the statement of all the provers are proved simultaneously, (2) and also all the provers using computationally limited devices (e.g. smart cards) have no need of computing the bilinear pairings, (3) but ...

ID-based Directed Threshold Multisignature Scheme from Bilinear Pairings

Multi signature is a signature scheme in which signers jointly generate a signature on a message. Threshold multisignature combines the traits of threshold signature and multisignature. In threshold multisignature, a group of users jointly generate a valid multisignature on a message and any one can verify the validity of the multisignature. However, in some applications the signed message is s...

Threshold attribute based universal designated verifier signature scheme in the standard model

In universal designated verifier signature scheme, signature holder can designate the signature to any desired designated verifier. Only the designated verifier can believe that the signature holder does have a valid publicly verifiable signature. Attribute based encryption is a novel public key primitive in cryptography and attribute based signature can provide a powerful way for users to cont...
